So, I know it's been a while since I last wrote, but my mummy and daddy are keeping me busy.  Since New Year I've been hanging out with Jamie a lot who shares my nanny, Deborah.  Deborah's great and I like her looking after me.  Otherwise things have been busy.  I went to Sam's 2nd birthday party which was a blast.  He had a strange train birthday cake though.  Apparently he really likes Thomas, whoever that is.  Mummy also bought me a stroller so that I take my dolly for a walk.  I love it.  There are photos here.

I'm also just back from a holiday with mummy and daddy to a place far away.  We had to go in the car and then on a big boat.  The house was very nice and I loved playing with the shells out on the deck.  We also went for a couple of walks but daddy insisted in putting me in a thing on his back.  I didn't like it very much.  You can see pictures of our trip here.

Christmas & New Year 2007/08

Christmas and New Year is all over and done with now. On Christmas Day we all came downstairs and I found some really big socks hanging from the fireplace, and one of them was for me. I decided that having my breakfast was more important than seeing inside first. Then we got dressed and opened all my presents. It was lots of fun and I actually liked the toys and not the wrapping! Mummy had to go to work after that but she came back in time for a big dinner with Phil, Louise, Sam and another couple of girls from church.

My First Birthday

So I've now turned one and had a great time in the process.  My granny has been here for the past couple of weeks and she's been a lot of fun to have around.   On my birthday mum and dad got me this cool baby grand piano which plays lots of music and so I dance a lot!  Daddy still keeps going on about me playing the drums though!  I also got lots of cool clothes.  I think my wardrobe is bigger than mummy's now and she's a bit jealous!

That night we went out to a place where mummy and granny didn't need to cook.  For some reason they didn't let me order off the menu though so I had my pasta bolognese instead!

The next day was even more fun.  Lots of people came over, including some of mummy and daddy's friends and everyone sang "Happy Birthday" and I got to blow out a candle on my huge pink cake.  We ran around playing with the balloons and I got to wear my pretty party dress for the first time.  My photo album is here.

Later on that day though it was sad as I had to say goodbye to Granny.  For pictures of our good times and especially the snow see here.  Also, I've put some photos up to show you all the beautiful place that I live here.

Well, it will soon be Christmas and I'm sure mummy and daddy have more in store for me so keep checking!
  

The Aquarium

Last Saturday mummy and daddy obviously thought it was time for me to explore more of the world. they took me to a place called the Aquarium. There was lots of water, just like my bath, except this time there were multi-coloured things swimming in the water. Daddy told me they were fish and some of them even had teeth, including the sharks and the piranhas. Daddy said I shouldn't go swimming with them. But daddy talks rubbish and I tried to touch them anyway. This didn't work as they had obviously put something in my way (called glass apparently). You can see my experience here.

My Dedication

Well last week I got to have ten minutes of being famous. Mummy and daddy dedicated me in church, apparently that just means thanking God that I'm such a good girl. I don't understand why it took them so long to do it though? Anyway, I got to hang out at the front of the church and have everyone admire my astounding good looks. But Pastor Tim wanted to keep putting his hand on my head which was quite annoying so I kept pulling it off. People seemed to think it was funny.... my new boyfriend

I have a secret, don't tell my dad. But I've got a boyfriend. Sam came over to visit us for dinner last week (I had some turkey and vegetables which tasted pretty good) and he kissed me! I think he's kinda cute with his curly hair. Here we are sitting on my Pooh chair together. There are more new photos here.

Home alone

Welcome to my now monthly update. You would think I didn't do much with life!! Mummy really has to let me start typing these, but for some reason she doesn't like me bashing away on Daddy's computer.

Anyway for now it is what it is. Since we got home from holiday Mummy and Daddy have been running a hotel! It has been great fun having so many people visit and spoil me, but for some reason they all keep leaving. The best thing about everyone being here is that I got to go lots of cool new places. I went up a big mountain twice, I went to Granville Island a lot, Daddy seemed really keen to explore something called the Granville Island Brewery, apparently they make nice juice or something.

It's late so I am going to go to bed and chew on my crib. Oh I forgot to mention I now have 4 teeth, 2 on the top and 2 on the bottom. Mummy has put up more cute pictures of me go see them here.

So my mummy has finally gotten around to putting some more photos of me for you all to see on the internet. I hope you like them. Click here. You might need to tilt your head for some of them as mummy's not technically minded and hasn't put them up the right way round!

I'm also sad because my Grandad Fraser and Aunty Laura left me alone with mummy and daddy for a few days, but my other granny and grandad have arrived to make sure that I have some other company. I'm going to miss my Aunty Laura lots because she looked after me so well for a few months. Now I don't know who's going to sing "Let your light shine" to me!

Holidays

This past week mummy and daddy took me on another trip on an airplane to a place in America called Raleigh, North Carolina. My cool friends Amy and Naomi moved there with their mum and dad a couple of months ago so we went for a visit. It was a great time and I went swimming for the first time and impressed mummy and daddy with my skills. I need some more practice but I think I'm going to be good at it and enjoy it. We also paid George W Bush a visit at the White House. He didn't say hello though which was disappointing. The only problem with was the heat. I don't know what happened but I kept sweating and mummy and daddy were complaining because they were too hot and mentioning something about 100 plus degrees?! I was glad when they put me in the car and it was cooler.

Now we're back in my house in Dunbar and my Grandad Fraser has surprised us all with a visit. It's a lot of fun hanging out with him and showing him my new trick of crawling across the floor. Everyone thinks it's great but then they don't like it when I touch things that are apparently bad for me. They should put it away then...

My First Wedding

So I got all dressed up this past weekend to go and see two of my special friends get married. Jeanine looked really pretty in her white long dress, her dress may even have been prettier than mine. The photos are here so decide for yourself! Mum and dad thought that it would be more fun though at night if I stayed home in bed with Aunty Laura watching me while they partied. I don't think that was much fun. They said they had a good time though. There's even a photo somewhere of daddy being really silly and thinking he was playing a guitar to the music. Stupid! The wedding was on an island called Vancouver Island (which apparently the same size as Scotland) and so I also had my first trip on a big boat. I didn't get outside to see the water though as it was raining outside. Thankfully the rain stayed away for the wedding so that me and Jeanine didn't get wet.

I've got another wedding this weekend and so I'm looking forward to putting on another one of my nice dresses. I'll show you the photos afterwards. I'm off to get more beauty sleep.
