any change?

so in the interests of carrying on my thought provoking questions and musings I have had this though.  If tomorrow I decided that following Jesus was a foolish idea and I simply stopped, what would change in my life?

If the answer is not much then I suspect there is something wrong with my following!

My thought from these last few weeks is simply this. Would they crucify your Jesus?

The songs I sing and hear, a lot of the art I see and the books I read frankly paint a picture of a Jesus who is too nice, too loving, too polite and frankly to banal to bother crucifying.

If he isn't worth crucifying he isn't worth worshipping.

Would they crucify the Jesus you follow?
